One who I think is worth a dabble at Doomben on Saturday is REAL FAVULOUS in Race 6.

His form is terrible, but he's been a victim of awkward draws.

Luke Dittman steers on Saturday.  Back in distance, but if speed is on he can run on well.

I've taken $21/$5.50.  :bulb:

i  wonder why NSW TAB will give fixed for the win BUT not the place ?

Yes, pisses me right off!

On a better note i do see they have a first five market up on the Caulfield Cup, not sure what % they are betting but there may be some value there.

Yes, it's bloody stupid and can only upset customers.

If they can frame a win market, they can frame a place market - even it it's 380%.  :bulb:

I expect the pay-5 market on Caulfield Cup will be near 600% - but, it's another approach.

Very annoying that TAB do not have fixed place markets up, they aren't prepared to put up a price until the win prices have been settled.

All of those prices are going to shorten, most have already. Thats half the battle.

Currently $41/$10  for race 4 on Saturday .... that looks very generous.  :x:

Yes, mate.

I've taken 8s.

Shame he's got another shocker of a draw - whereas last week he could have got a sweet run.

Let's hope he arrives at the track in one piece.  :x:

3yo IN HIS STRIDE is a very smart horse.

Subscribers will know I'm a fan.  First-up he might as well have been home in his stall.  He skirted around the freeway and was a spent force at the 200.

He's looking for longer, but fronts up tomorrow over 1100 from a good draw.

The good odds are now gone but there's $13 and $3.66 available on TABCORP.

Don't leave him out of your multiples.  :bulb:

Surely RUDY is better than a $26/$7.50 chance in The Boag Symphony Stakes 1800M (MR8) on Tuesday :what:

With Melbourne turning on the damp weather over the next couple of days, every drop of rain should be making the job easier for Rudy.

Yet to win beyond the 1600M is some query, but won the Villiers by an increasing 2.2L margin on a Soft(5).
K McEvoy should get the best out of him.

Rudy ran 5.7L behind Winx in the Epsom on an unsuitable surface - Good(3) - which used to be designated as "fast."

If he's going to get out to a distance ... this is his oportunity. Ms Page has long held hopes of winning with him over ground.

Danger amonst others in the race, is the Darren Weir trained TALL SHIP $7.50/$3.10.
Emerging as the one they want in this race.

Between starting the form and deciding $41 was a great price .. Favoured Grace BR3 has firmed in across the board to a general $21.... however Bet365 is the only firm still betting $41 and I think that will be overs - especially if the first couple of race indicate horses will be able to run on and win.
