The cardiac problems that can lead to the ventricular arrhythmias include bacterial or viral infections, damage to the heart muscle or accidental poisoning. It is also very often caused by the horse becoming dehydrated or having his electrolyte levels out of whack.

On for the far west today.

Kalgoorlie race 9 #1 Dark Mission - ex Peters horse who got the cash in a similar race 2 back, meets the fav 0.5kg better today for beating it home. Last start was hopelessly strung up and marked time for a lot of the straight only getting clear air very late to surge.

Currently $8 up compared to the $3.4 of the fav

Granted will need some luck but drawn wide so should get clear air coming into the straight, if they can make ground it will be in the finish.

Well  she was in the finish, launching the last 150m to go down by half a length running 5th, probably in front a few bounds after the post but we all know that don't pay

Just saw this rats.
Missed the kick,Then 3 wide pulling from the 800. Ran his last 600m in 33.27 under a stranglehold. The race was clearly the fastest last 600 of the day

Trialled again yesterday. Waller clearly has big plans given that. Reefed and pulled and could have won by panels if they wanted.
It appears education is a priority

My horse Arranmore has been placed against very good stable debutantes in it's two starts to date.

Surely Waller will place it in a race it can win!

Today's winner Espiona looked just as promising as Able Willie.

The stable has some really good young horses at the moment.

Espiona is the $1.65 favourite in the G3 Desirable Stkes at Flemington today (well done to the VRC for naming a race after this great filly/mare).

Arranmore, who finished 2nd to Espiona last start won her maiden at Randwick yesterday (at generous odds I thought)
