What has this steed achieved that warrants a separate thread?

What has this steed achieved that warrants a separate thread?

Given its breeding, about what Black Caviar and So You Think had achieved at the time Auth opened up separate threads for those two steeds.

So it's won a Swan Hill 2yo and we open a new thread.  :wtf:

Gonna be a lot of new threads.

There'll be a few winners at SC today that are "well bred" too.

If we wanna open new threads on promising horses, yesterday's MV winner PRINCE HARADA deserves consideration.  :bulb:

A mate of mine had one ready to win on debut a couple of weeks back.  I had a nice whack at it @ $10s the place.

Don't need to tell ya who beat it.

I'm not saying it's "well bred' I'm saying that given:-

A It's apparently bred to run a distance

and

B Has a win on its CV already

AND

C Auth has sussed it out

I couldn't query his judgement opening a separate thread given his record sniffing out future stars.

Goes around in a unsuitable race on Saturday. 1200m around the Valley is just stupid for a filly like this.

I see her campaign being typically Australian.

1200m
1400m qualify for 1000 Guineas
1600m
2000m Wakeful or Geelong Classic
2500m Oaks.

Only real concern with todays race is that it might turn into a trot and canter sprint home affair.

She should still be too good.

As such no real concerm except the post race comments from both trainer and jockey.

Trainer said as a lat foal the Guineas might see her out this time in, and that fair enough - BUT i am on her in the Oaks

Jockey says - "she might be too brilliant for the Oaks"

She jumps brilliantly and settles beautifully. She looks almost like one of those push button types.

She has won her "group 1" but I doubt she will reach the heights I hoped.
