Title: GUELPH the inbred experiment worked
Post by: Shogun Lodge on 2013-Feb-13, 01:54 PM
Can anyone please get up the pedigree of this fine strong filly and Diamond contender?
She is a hulk, inbred 2x3 to Danehill!!! Two by bloody 3!!..very brave breeding indeed and unlikely to have been liked by buyers, kept by Darley, the experiment and lack of caution pays off!
If we listened to experts she never would have been bred...does the Sheik decide?

When it doesn't work it's "Inbreeding"
When it does work it's "Line breeding".

Thanks Autho...good read.
We bred ,mates and I,what I was sure was one of the first inbred 3x3 to Danzig in  2001...and were told it was  silly by a certain pedigree expert.
Was Orpen from a Perugino mare..lovely Danzig DNA up close....was a lovely colt...lost him to worm in brain from snail slime ...rat lungworm.
Go the brave inbreeder...but these days I'm into reinforcement in gen 5 to 10!

This filly is something special another G1 win in a good field,I didn't touch the race it was too hard for my money outside of the winner but her odds should have been a touch better imo. :/

Shocking run again today not the usual Guelph so something could be wrong...I suppose further may suit but I bet Peter is scratching his head...I noticed a Darley runner today running last in a race....so many races I forget where but that isn't a normal sight to see....all up I guess the stable wouldn't be pleased on the days efforts everywhere but there was one winner I saw I think Newcastle.
