There's another nommed for Canberra on Friday.

Race 6 Macknuckle, ex Knucklemania, trained by Bernie Howlett, jockey MA Cahill.

Boriwa is also to go around tomorrow at Penola in race 7, trained by Barry Dunn, jockey K Post.

Moon Rocket has 3 of his progeny coming up for sale in the Brisbane Bloodstock sale on 17/2/08 a/c Moon Rocket P/L all colts so perhaps breeders are hanging onto any fillies for brood mares.

Yes, terrible news.  Making it worse was that the plan was to have one last run before going to stud....

Westie....I don't think anything has been seen about her death, she was nominated to run on Sat over 1010m.
Gosh now the other site is closing the worms are surfacing here.

Hi Jappy so glad you have surfaced again we have missed you, just so sad that another part of the Moon Rocket story has a tragic ending again.

Yes kool - I think Blondie might be OK.  Will be better away from Doomben...

Also, Just Racing has up an article about Miss Watagan:

I know if you inject hipiron, which I assume is the iron supplemet she was given too quickly you can kill a horse .... well apparently.

It can supposedly stop the heart, somebody correct me if I am wrong  :/

Moon Boy at Ipswich on Wed looked OK for first run. He got the wobbles after looking like a winner at one stage.

Depends where he is placed next time .

Yes Gratlog - a great run, seeing they weren't expecting much first up  :)
Look for him next time over 1600m...
Moon Chaser was a great first up run (in what was meant to be a barrier trial), and Macknuckle was of course fantastic!
Macknuckle is nommed again at Rosehill on Saturday and hopefully will be a nice price again  ;)
Good to see connections of Space Ace have sent him to Melbourne - he's nommed on Friday, but won't show his best until after 2000m....
