Miss Jackson has had a change of stables now racing in Rocky area and has won two barrier trials since leaving Gerald Ryan,so hope she can finally win a race to keep family tradition up on thursday now her mum is dead.

Cob raced again today and after throwing his head around early and clipping heels he settled and the jok got him out where he cruised to the lead to only get run down in the last 50m for another 2nd,I don't know why he isn't gelded yet.

I've been waiting for a progeny to race by Wagga trained Kung Fu Peg now 4yo so must have had problems like Fu Peg's can get but after a couple of no good trials is nominated 10/8 at Wagga, her dam Minerva was a handy filly and used to march behind the barriers and many times smiley Baster laughed so much he almost came off her she won us a race I always liked the Gwynn Nursary in easy fashion and gave me a great thrill at the 99 Melb cup day when she led the field all the way in Cadbury Roses to get caught on the line by 1/2 neck sht head for a 3rd.

Kung Fu Peg sat 2nd last for most of the race then finished 7th in field of 14,don't know if she was finishing off ok or the others were dropping out quickly, obvious didn't inherit any of mums speed but may be wanting a longer race. :chin:

No joy with the progeny this week but Cob a maiden ran in a C1 after 4x2nd's recently,Levi looked above himself resuming and was starting to run on so will improve hopefully. The Rellies did well tho with Snitzerland winning and Esprit Lad running 4th.

Another great win by Nina Haraka's neice Snitzerland but I bet Corey Brown has had to go to the hair dye after the ride by Oliver it wasn't a good ride imo and as usual his excuse was weak. :stop:

A bit tough there, Kool.

Gerald Ryan said after the race the plan was to take cover due to the wind.

If you do that then getting a clear run is then gunna be an issue.

He ended up negotiating a winning track and winning the bikkies.

'wasn't a good ride" ?? :chin: :chin:

A third place by Empress Milly yesterday was an improvement.

An easy win today by Miss Jackson she blew the odds on fave out of the water so the trip to town midweek topped her off for a better run.

From The Terrace lead and folded today to be unplaced.

Cob ran another place last week.

My Shabella has had a stable change like her 1/2 sister, now with Bruce Hill at GC My Shabella has had 3 BT's and won every one but in three race starts has only got 1 3rd but her other two runs she didn't know what she was doing, she is entered for GC tomorrow so I hope she does her family proud as she is the only non winner in the family. :x:

What a difference no Epaulette makes in a race,My Shabella kept the family winners in tact so her mum can rest in peace after a good win at the Gold Coast,no fancy price tho odds on no doubt because of her easy BT win there,it was so good to see her jump and run like she has in her BT wins and her good 3.5L 6th behind Epaulette in the Black Opal.I look forward to her 1/2 2yo sister (unamed) by Hussonet to race now as she is the mares last foal. :x:
