I would have loved to have gone, but I think he goes better when I am not there  :)

Funny thing is, I couldn't find him in the run, didn't pick him up untill near the 100m mark, didn't realise he was not in the stable colours, thought the old man had forgotten them, wouldn't have been the first time

Apparently it is the second time we have trained a winner in town in those colours.

The old man was telling me Kilamanjaro won a race in them when he won the main race on the same day quite a few years ago     emthup

Thanks mate,

and I hid those comments, even though I get the joke, and can appreciate them, I don't think many others will, and may take it the wrong way  ;)

He'll be eligible for the same class if he wins this race, to my knowledge.

A win tomorrow would mean his rating will change by probably 4.  The weight he's allotted next run will be dependent on the rating of his opposition.  He may still be on the limit, but he might also be carrying 56.

Been a pretty long campaign, and had plenty of tough runs.  :(

Either that or he doesn't get 1200

Yeh full kudos to the old man,

Has done a very good job with him this prep, managing his problems, he is no world beater, but I can see him knocking off a couple more wins in town, before his career is over   emthup

Tough race, struggling to get a grass gallop at the Sunny Coast, so much for their idea of racing on it, and he can't gallop on the Cushion as he cuts his heels to pieces  :(

Is extremely well besides the part he may be a bit under done  :chin:

He doesn't look right. He beat the winner when Larry was on board first up (came third paying about $9 for  a place) last prep or perhaps it was the prep before that. I didn't think he looked good in his first up run and he didn't go tonight at all. He normally gets home well. Thought the apprentice did everything right.  Mustn't be right which is a shame as he's getting a bit long in the tooth and I think the intention for this prep was to see if he could get 1400 maybe even longer. A bit disappointing but that's racing. See what Lloyd says and take it from there.
