Upping Zoustar from $60,500 to $154,000 seems very bullish on the back of one 2yo winner this season from 24 runners, and his 2 big stallion prospect colts, Zousain and Lean Mean Machine, both going winless this Autumn, and demonstrating that they are nowhere near the top level.

In fact, without the brilliant Sunlight and Zoustyle (yet to win outside of Brisbane), and his 2yo winner, Sun City (Brisbane stakes winner), it's been pretty slim pickings for him this season. A lot of sizzle, not so much steak.

Trapeze Artist has been priced very aggressively.

Even Nicconi's been given a decent hike.

Can't see a lot of value for breeders on that roster.

By about $30,000 at least, even in the current inflated market.

I gather Bert is keeping most or even all of the horse, so he can charge what he likes. He will no doubt be sending a number of his own mares to the horse.

Zoustar's fee's only slightly less ridiculous.

Give me Pierro or NASD any day at a fraction of the Zoustar fee.
