I am not if I can spend it wisely but here goes. I split it up as I won my own bet.

I will donate part of the winnings to the spring comp. If one multi gets up it will be $25. If all get up, it will be $100. So let’s hope they all get up. All the bets are with the Tab.

AFL Multi $20 x $3.2= $64 return.

Western Bulldogs-$1.26
Port Adelaide -$1.35
Geelong -$1.17
Brisbane - $1.34
Melbourne -$1.2

NRL Multi $20 x $3.27 = $65.4

Cronulla - $1.43
Brisbane-$1.26
Souths -$1.26
Panthers- $1.07
Roosters-$1.25
Melbourne- $1.08

All the AFL and NRL

$10 at $10.49=$104.90

Unfortunately in the AFL, Western Bulldogs lost by 1 point while in the NRL, Souths were also beaten by 1 point. Thus the multis are gone.

Bad luck guys!

Brian, I've been a bit busy lately with family visiting over recent weeks, so I haven't taken the opportunity to thank you for this comp. I really enjoyed it. I honestly take little interest in Sydney racing as a rule, but enjoyed getting involved and was able to watch most of the Sydney events. Great stuff ..

Must say I agree with JWH. I don’t understand the thought process that makes people restrict their betting by racing precinct.

It does seem to be a Melbourne centric approach 🤔

If I am studying the form thoroughly, it is more than enough work for me to follow one state. Personally, I don't understand how people can both live a life AND bet confidently and competently in several locations. I guess not everyone does it the same way.

Hell, I can understand that there is more to racing than just Victoria. I live in another state, am a club member there .... but I just don't bet there.
I have nothing against NSW racing. As I said above, I enjoyed going through the fields, watching the races, etc. during the comp.

And I'll tell you a secret for nothing. I totally respect NSW form. Today, for example, I have backed TonneOfGrit and Alegron. If you are bringing a horse interstate, you generally think it'll go well

My tip for nothing is take care when assessing Vic form when having a Sydney start at short odds (I won't mention Northerly) whereas Sydney form usually stacks up well when having a Vic start.
