Hi Chuggers,
Have just returned from a sojourn to Fraser Island where one is lucky to find electricity, let alone internet access.
If there are any numbers left I will take the remaining barrier closest to the fence.
Is that number 4?
Is that OK?

Well it looks like I've drawn WOD's cup love affair horse.

As he doesn't have an entry and if Chuggers approves let's call my entry a joint effort of Ara and WOD.

Chuggers - I am pleased with the draw - I couldn't have worked it better - you are a genius.

Another $50 cheque is in the mail mate.

BTW - I'll be backing Grand Marshall.

Last time I drew a horse in anything, was 1975.
Before that draw I said I'd back whatever I drew.
The name of the horse was Think Big.

But ... I didn't back it because "Nothing wins at 33/1"

Yeah ... right!

They call New York the BIG APPLE and Tokyo unofficially the BIG MIKAN(Japanese tangerine orange)
I must admit, it is the only horse in the race I know nothing about.

No doubt you'll learn a lot about the horse at the business end of the race.

Jokes aside, I think 90% of the bets placed on Tuesday will be by folk who don't know a heck of a lot aboput racing, let alone the MC.

The public  - mostly us - only know what we have been told, or have read.

It's a race I rarely put a dollar on, except for the odd double/multi.

This year I can't see a thing against GM running a good race.
Chugs has just made it a little easier ...  ;)
