Today's offering at morning tea included the following plate of fruit.

The list of fruit in alphabetical order is as follows:

blueberries
honeydew melon
kiwi-fruit
pineapple
raspberries
rockmelon
strawberries
watermelon

I sampled FIVE of the fruit.

The competition is to pick WHICH five.  Order not important.

You can have FIVE entries.

If we get a winner, I'll see if there's something in the bottom drawer to offer as a prize.

I've PMed the correct answer to PP7.

There'll be no progress advice.  Result will be announced on 1 Nov.

As always, if more than one entry is correct, the first-posted wins.   emthup

Good luck all.

Players,

You may have FIVE entries - unless you think you can get it in one.

Guys, you might be holding back, but FIVE entries means:

Five entries each with five selections.

Concerned that rat is starting to take the scientific approach.  Unlike him.

Ill go with JWH method, I would have had:

Raspberries
Honey Dew
Kiwi
Pineapple
Watermelon

Little bit off topic but are blueberries the most over hyped thing on the planet? Don't taste bad but nothing really to them, grapes are much better!

Grapes are fantastic when turned into great top shelf Australain red wine. Blueberries imo are superior to honey dew melon - but that's me

Rockmelon is my favourite. It could easily be something that DD hates.

I agree, blueberries are over-rated, but we don't see them all that much in Qld.  :unsu

I can win this! :)

I notice some pineapple is missing off the plate, and I know DD luvz raspberries so I will make them bankers  :bulb:  :)

1) Raspberry, rock melon, blueberry, pineapple, strawberry.

2) Rock melon, raspberry, strawberry, honeydew, pineapple  (best bet)

3) Pineapple, rock melon, strawberry, raspberry, honeydew.

4) Honeydew, raspberry, strawberry, pineapple, rock melon.

5) Blueberry, rock melon, pineapple, raspberry, strawberry.

I think DD eats the blueberries for their antioxidant value, helps him to deactivate the damaging oxidized free radicals in his blood  :) :/

oooops  :shy: I have 2 & 4 the same so will make 4 Blueberry, raspberry, strawberry, pineapple, honeydew

OK, the correct result is:

honeydew melon
pineapple
raspberries
rockmelon
strawberries

So, smartie RH has got it right - BUT, she's had so many breakfasts with me that I'm gonna disqualify her for insider trading.  :chair:

Will set up another comp.  :bulb:

Is there any science to this?

I was looking at the make-up of the colour charts? Spent hours

There there no apostrophes so thought there might have been something more to it - but alas just a breakfast whim  :what:

Will set up another comp.  :bulb:
