OK team, here's the product of our collective wisdom.

The coloured numbers are the top-rated.

A Line is BLUE

B Line is YELLOW

C Line is RED

Phillip tips are Criterion, Fame Game and Trip To Paris.  It is comforting to know we are on the same page.

Here's the ticket, guys.

Remember we need one of A line to run 1, 2, or 3.

We need the winner to be in Line A or B.

The placings can be in any line.

Good luck, and thanks for your willing co-operation.

I bet it's a shocking Cup though.

None of his yearling purchases made the cut.

Thought the same Wenona.

Unlike DD to get it so wrong.

I do struggle a little bit with all the numbers and the set up of the A,B,C but in the above bet it seems the B selections are in the first possie twice, is this right?

Chalks, yes, that has to be the case to meet our criteria.

Ticket 1 is A x (A+B+C)

Ticket 2 is B x A x (A+B+C)

Ticket 3 is B x (B+C) x A X (A+B+C)

Yes I did crack it awhile back when I got a copy of the template but I haven't thought too much about it since. I bet I am an expert if it salutes!
Cheers DD for your efforts and to all the rest of the team, hope you all have a great day tomorrow. Ill be partaking in a traditional Cleveland Sands Cup Day extravaganza complete with long waits at the bar from 1pm, the usual stirring performances of the many who fill their tickets in wrong and my favourite segment - the large queue of winning punters clambering to the terminals to collect 30 seconds after the race.
Cup Day my favourite day of the year

Will do mate, good people, although don't get Des started on her holidays or you will never get on. Johnny reckons that most Cup years he covers wages and everything from his punting on the race, lets hope its the same for him this year! Tania is everyone's favourite however!

Thanks for pulling it together DD - nice effort

Good luck everyone - particularly those with an interest in horses running anywhere tomorrow  :x: - looking forward to all the stories on Wednesday  :stop:

Well, guys, I'd say we got out cheap.

Wouldn't have gone near the correct result no matter what "system" we used.

Even this morning, I'd find it difficult to snare.

The idea was good, we failed in the execution.  BUB was the only player to give the winner a chance.   emthup

We'll try it again some time.  :bulb:

It's a toss-up as to who's the bigger pest on this forum: Peter Mair or ratsack.  :chin:
