Ok ... didn't purchase any tickets as hoped - went for a nap and Mrs JP allowed me to sleep ... and

So will leave it open until tomorrow morning 9am Qld time ... no point cutting it just for the sake of it.

Only one thing ... anyone coming in tomorrow will need to bank the subs at a Suncorp Bank branch in order to get it processed in time for Thursday.
Over the counter at Suncorp goes straight into my acc.

We're on our way ...

the short answer Mono is no, there are payout limits, not sure why but $5k comes to mind, if you win first divvy you get picked up in a limo and taken to HQ for the counselling and advice and to cover off on the legalities etc .

Unfortunately I am not relating this from personal experience

re the counselling that is correct, I don't know about the limo.

My sister won it about 25 years ago, she wasn't picked up in a limo, but she was given lots of financial advice and counselling............she didn't blow the money :)

RH your sisters luck must have rubbed onto you with the winners you pick
From stories I've read on people who have won the lotto there are some that just shouldn't buy tickets.
One story of a Sunshine Coaster who won it twice within a 3 year period and now relies on the dole for support is sad.

Common theme.

I think it is commendable that counselling is offered and encouraged.
No one wants to let such an opportunity slip away due to under-developed financial management skills.

Have posted tickets already purchased in the header

More to come tomorrow morning ... which will finalise our coverage.

Then ... I will post ALL of the ticket numbers as a single group for ease of checking results.
I want to do this in a single post which will NOT be edited, for veracity ... before the draw.

There will be no errors ... no additions and no omissions.

We are on our way  :clover:

btw ... have managed to balance the purchase between shared systems and our own outright games.

You did hear about the girl in Perth winning on MC when someone copied her bar code of the winning ticket after she posted it on her facebook page and cashed it in.

Yes SW - very good point.

However, as I walked away from one of the News Agents (a fellow I know well enough now to call an acquaintance) he said: "Here mate. Let me put them all in a packet for you. It'll keep them manageable."

Then he said: "It wouldn't matter if you did drop them - no one can claim anything without your card."

That's how it is in Qld. Not only do we have the system of registered games being securely linked to a card - if the physical card is not produced, then legit ID muct be produced, and a waiting period is further applied I believe, until bona fides are confirmed.

However, in order to avoid complications, I have taken on board that some dill may actually attempt this, and have deleted the tickets as posted.
I will cut the bar codes and re-post. People can no more claim a ticket linked to a Winner's Circle card, than they can using the actual numbers, which I will summarise and post in the morning after the rest of the tickets are purchased.

One other security point: When online, I can see in my account ALL of the tickets I purchased for this lotto.
They have the letter "S" beside them, meaning the entry is a "Store-bought" ticket.
As these tickets appear in my online account, as well as in physical form which I retain, the evidence is overwhelming that it is indeed our syndicate which owns full rights to each ticket.

Even if my WC card was stolen, prizes still can not be claimed in-store without the physical ticket AND the card.

It's a good system, and does protect winners even against their own stupidity  :shy:

Soon as I've had my weeties and coffee, I'll trot off down to the local agency and complete my side of the deal.

All 20 tickets now posted.

Remember this?

https://tatts.com/goldencasket/results/check-my-ticket

At the top of each ticket there is a number - the ticket number.
It begins with "01"

Leave this number off when using the number checker function.

Just enter the next 6 and then the next 5 numbers, and you should quickly know if the ticket is a winner.
Remember, not all tickets will be able to be checked - eg tickets where we share in Shop Syndicates.
But these can just as easily be checked manually.

Further explanation:

You will see some tickets have "PHIT" on them.
This is an abbreviation for "POWERHIT" and it simply means we are guaranteed the Powerball for those games

In the next post I will list the ticket numbers for ease of checking.

"Have a little faith" ... to quote Donald Sutherland, in Kelly's Heroes ... great movie of its time

Financials:
We raised $600 through ticket subs.
We spent $603.08
We have 14 tickets in our own right and 6 tickets in shop syndicates.

Too tired to work out the actual games we have on our own, plus the games we share in.
Maybe this afternoon if I am bored :)

Good luck to us  emthup
