Somehow I managed to wreck the other thread.

Will post the final results here.

Gin needs his last winner to get up to knock over ratsack by my reckoning - and even then it will need to return around $7+. The next favourite getting up or running a place will make it exciting.

Gin and JWH need points in the last two races in he GP.

Gin's winner makes the last race interesting.

He needs a return of $82.60 from Devoted Star if my mental arithmetic is correct.

It is currently $6.40 and $2.90. If that holds he would win.

I need a profit of $418 from my two tips which at the moment is enough but we are talking about a one in 4,000 chance here.

Gin has an unassailable lead in the GP

does get back and on pace has been favoured today

On the plus side it won't shorten due to 'Pike in the last'

Wet tracks. Time of year. Just haven't been betting as much mate.

The mare that won the last in Perth wasn't beaten far in Listed company last campaign and had excellent second up stats. Drawn well and first up run wasn't that bad.

Hope you can work out something in regards to form

I have run Gods know how many of these comps and the one thing I've learned is that someone who jags a longshot usually wins. Just that for it to come up in the second last race in the entire comp is a bit unusual.

The running sheet being correct, the winner of the EW comp was yours truly and Brian Mc won the Grand Prix Comp.

I have to apologize to Gintara. I said he had an unassailable lead but that was assuming I didn't win the day. That has pinched a couple of points off him.

This is the unofficial result. Geoff usually does a scrutiny of it and I'll await any corrections from him before declaring correct weight.

Thanks for the competition and, as always, running it so well, PP7.

The disparity between the leaderboards in the Main Competition and the Points competition is remarkable. You take out the main one with a Bernborough finish but are down in 7th place in the points. On the other hand I plod along to fall in in one Comp and am back in 6th place in the other! And its not just us two. Maybe not as extreme but Ratsack is 2nd and 5th; JWH is 5th and 3rd; Gintara is the most consistant with a third and a second.

What about this for an idea. Add the rankings for both competition, As in a Golf Tournament, lowest score wins.

I love these comps if only to test myself, I'd enter regardless of prizes offered, just love testing myself to turn a profit.

My punting doesn't allow me to find the hail mary winner, that's not to say I don't back the odd $20 winner but their not what I find myself tipping in comps.
