I must admit that my selection of #4 Our Baez was one of the few times that I was swayed by the name of a horse. I was happy enough that in a very, very weak form race, an unraced horse with improving barrier trial form was a reasonable way to go but the Baez moniker was the tipping point. Not for the great singer, Joan Baez, but for her father Albert. Albert Baez was a very good physicist and a writer of an influential physics text; we shared the running of a segment of a Physics Education Conference in Edinburgh many, many years ago. He was My Baez.
