  I wouldn't even touch it at that price. Absolute min $8.

Believe it or not he actually has the 3rd best form in the race behind #1 and #4

#3 - scratched
#5 - form 88668 - in fact her last start beaten 13.24 lengths was her best effort in those 5 runs.
#6 - form 668 - never finished closer than 10 lengths - will probably be backed because the republican presidential candidate has the same name.
#7 - form 6578 - the closest the #6 has finished is 10.47 lengths. This bloke is marginally better - best effort beaten 10.34 lengths in 4 starts.
#8 - scratched
#9 - form 8x5 - Ladbrokes have it being beaten distanced then 15.33 lengths whereas The Watchdog has no distance recorded then beaten 18 lengths.
#10 - form 86687 - Lucky Phoebe is lucky she has loving owners and she is still racing after 12 starts and hasn't been sent to stud or given away as a pet. She rarely gets closer than 10 lengths from the winner.

The #1 and #4 dogs should take up 90% of the market here.

Yeah had a bit further look at the form. It is an ordinary race even for a maiden. If I get $6 I'll take it.

Like smoking, backing this dog again will kill me.  I think it's time for me to get off the Kate's Boy bus.

I can't see any track that suits it, especially as it looks like it wants the inside.

Yep got out to $6.50 so I jumped on.

Gets beaten what it misses the jump by each week even with the checks it cops.

But it is now 5 starts and never been closer then 5 lengths off them at box rise.

It never looks like learning to jump at all.

I agree with you skybeau. Unblackbooked.

Plenty of better options out there.

I'm not convinced it is running as fast as it can.

Sucker for punishment, Kate's Boy is in again, Geelong Race 2 #8.

Now, the big plus of this field is ...... there's only 7 runners, so that means it only has to avoid 6 others instead of the usual 7.

Money for jam!

Took the $13 on Bet365. Has obviously been crying out for Box 8 and finally gets the ideal draw   emthup    emthup

Scratching if 1 & 2, along with vacant box in 5, will never get a better chance to break its maiden status. I wouldn't be expecting any sort of price though.

Would find trouble in a solo trial that dog. If it stays wide and goes around them it probably wins or at least runs a drum.

Well glad I didn't get on today.

Just watched the run. Deadset it was going like a rocket compared to the other dogs to that first turn. It is clueless. Straight up the arse of the two dogs in front of it after clearly being wide outside them.

If it stays on the outside it is flying after the leader around the turn.

Just give this dog away fellas.

I figure I have 10 shots at the bullseye.

My own fault. Only took 6 starts for the dog to get a clue that coming out 5 lengths last isn't the plan.

Thanks guys. Checked out thedogs site and the pup was call Utah Miss and she ran 22.82. Im sure it was quicker than that but thats the official. The trainer wasn't happy it ran so quick. I suspect he was hoping for a quiet one
There was another one after her that ran 22.71 but that result hasn't been put up :chin:

I was told by a couple of people watching that running less than 23 is a very good time and worth following. Is that the case?

Bolted in at Richmond yesterday at it's 2nd race start.
Sadly my eagle eye was only as good as everyone elses and it paid $2.35

Tony Brett had no luck in his appeal for a reduction in the $10K fine he received for a positive to Pentobarbitone when one of his dogs  won a low grade race at Ipswich in April....... with the IR confirming the penalty.

http://www.qric.qld.gov.au/pdf/0012-16-tony-brett-internal-review-decision.pdf

The following extract from the above decision seems to prove  that the sampling wasn't the cause of the drug showing up which was one of the arguments advanced by the appellant who has previous form.

"The reviewer notes, the Certificate of Analysis on the reserve portion of the sample did not detect Pentobarbitone in the associated control solution."

Giddy Up

Handy young pup running around Geelong lately.

Nitro Swagger - 2 starts, 2 wins. 22.30 BOD and 22.39 BON

The 22.30 run is the 5th quickest around Beckley Park this year - behind multi group winner Aston Bolero (22.01)

Flying Amy Classic final on tonight at Albion Park.

#2 Jackson Benz has won 4 from 5 career starts and sizzled in the heats. But not a very good beginner. A big dog who uses his size to get what he wants. The #4 Opal Nera should lead them and had the second best heat time. If it goes to script they should run the quinella.

The #1 Shoes To Fill is also a slowish beginner but if he has any brains he will follow Jackson Benz's through.
