Greyhound racing was held at The Meadows last night, with the running of the Temlee (525m), Rookie Rebel (600m) & the Zoom Top (725m).  All of these races have G1 status

Brooke Ennis took away the major prize in the Temlee, with chaser My Bro Fabio pocketing $100,000 for the win.  Has been a profitable start to 2015 for Ennis, with My Bro Fabio winning $265,000 in the first two months.

Cosmic Wise was the outsider of the Rookie Rebel but was strong enough to run down Sandown Laurels winner Lamia Bale.  The win takes her prizemoney to just shy of $200,000

Space Star maintained its unbeaten run of 2015, taking out the Zoom Top.  This made it back to back G1 wins for the chaser, after taking out The Galaxy in Perth 2 weeks ago.  Space Star has won $210,000 this year.

Another big win for My Bro Fabio and Brooke Ennis taking out the Temlee. Box 8 again!!

In probably the worst week in Australian greyhound racing history, young Brooke Ennis is a God send  :clap2:

My favourite run of MBF.  Loved the way he went wooshka coming into the bend.  I backed Marcus Joe that night, pretty confident after he jumped.

Almost $470k in prizemoney, very impressive.

I often read thedogs.com.au articles to try and pick up a lead or two.

Today they had an article on the Nowra greyhounds .

http://www.thedogs.com.au/NewsArticle.aspx?NewsId=6146

In the article they mention 5 dogs which I had a small win parlay on.

Fancy Fran
Ticketmaster
Red Enforcer
Jazz Cruz
Spicy Custard

THEY ALL RAN 2ND  :bash:

Fernando Bale 28.98 at Sandown, .02 outside Bekim Bales record. Ran 4.90 first split which I think is the equal of Black Magic Opal's first split record.

Certainly the super dog of the moment.

Kennelmate Usain I'm Nutty probably the only worthy opponent in the final?

But with Fernando drawing box 1 in the final he'd have to fall over to get beat I'd reckon.

Handsome lookin' fella....

Do you remember a dog from Adelaide from the mid 90's, Wolf Black. Used to go to the back of the boxes and be almost running at the lids when they opened. Used to come out 3 in front every week!

What a fantastic meeting at Sandown tonight.

Ladbrokes were offering $4 about Sweet It Is/Space Star/Fernando Bale all up so after a quick few keystrokes on the calculator I've had a go at that  :)

The favourites Dzeko and Lady Toy should go close in the other heats of the Sandown Cup.

Fernando's race was all over when he drew 1 in the final of the Dawson. He is $1.18, out from $1.12. Looks good value at those odds if that is at all possible!!

Any report on what happened to Space Star on Thursday night in the Cup?

Was watching the race from afar, seemed to jog into the lead and must have been 1-100 as they are turning out of the back and then something happened.  :/

I don't think I've ever seen one that big.

I raced a dog called Bart's On who was 40ish and he was huge, he had a motor but sadly was too big and kept injuring himself.
