I see the great bitch ran 3rd. I assume there were excuses ?

Missed the kick and got squeezed out to last early.  Still looked for a fleeting moment at the top of the straight she was still going to win.  One of the best runs of her career for mine.

Wins the Galaxy and becomes the Highest earner in history of aussie dogs.

Can't split her and Brett Lee as the best I've seen.

9.57pm tonight we see the champ Miata come up against the one they are saying could take her place as the new superstar stayer in Xylia Allen off track record runs at Launceston and Geelong.

Can't wait for the race but would think miata should still win as it is Xylia Allen first attempt at the staying distance and it will imporove for the run.

Brilliant race. Xylia off and gone 10 clear and Miata having trouble clearing the pack but that first run over the longs told and miata got into a clear 2nd and stormed home to win by 2 1/2L.   :noteworthy:    :clap2:

What an amazing win by this bitch.

I had my ticket headed for the bin over the back.

I realise the 2nd dog came back to her in a big way up the straight, but she still should not have been able to win from her position early on.

Champ just fell in tonight, hope she needed the run.  Expected to retire after the final next week I think.

Sad to see her have such a poor prep for the race - she was 14 lens below her best. VERY POOR training performance!!!

And sending her to a G.Bate dog - P.Stuart bitch to a G.Bate dog, pups will have two heads!!

Not sure she was that far below her best - if she doesn't lead those staying races she is always in trouble, and the first two home are very very good stayers.
