Please keep the updates coming. Was over in NZL last week and visited Addington dogs on a beautiful day.
Very sad over there, the industry is under threat. The track had the atmosphere of a funeral parlor. I counted 20 non racing attendees and they were all there for lunch, none of them had a bet or watched the races.
No bookies, just a dumb terminal where you punch your bets. Sad really. I recall great days in the 70s with my first dog winning it's first 5 from 6 starts, the first two at Moss Vale. They were great days out and lots of fun, plenty of families bookies and atmosphere.
