Getting in early for tomorrow night but it's a great card, any early thoughts?

RIGHT INTEREST in the first trot, if he steps away, is a moral
IM MARK ANTONY will be short in the 4th but should win from the pole
WILL TRAPPER was dead stiff not to win last week, Viva La Fever was good as well
BALTIC ICE to go well in the cup consolation
I am SAM each way in the big one

If Butt can keep Royden Flash trotting all the way it bolts the 1st in but that trotting part is a big if on what it's done it's last two.

Princess Dillenger in the 2nd.

Sudon's gift jogs the 6th in from most probbly viva la fever.

BAF in the Vic cup although if MM is really making the step up to this grade it should be able to lead, dictate and win like the real good horses do. Lay I am sam win/place.

I dont think the major can lead and win. He'll get taken on early by Hudge, divisive or Sam who should get to the death, Robin Hood then takes off and gets there and BAF will be outside the lot of em with a lap to go.

that'll be enogh to kill the major unless he hads up to Sam early and let him be the sitting duck.

I see it as the winner getting a late split as the leaders have a heart attack

Wily,

do yourself a favour and get off that roadblock I am Sam, he is seriously a pretender at the GC level. I was right not in the picture as MM crossed the line.  ;)

Nice tip on Will Trapper(we got the tri in 3 between us)  8-)

Also nice odds for Roydon Flash. Had he done everything right in his 1st 2 aussie starts he'd have been $1.10 in that race.

Ara, I didn't get to see it i'm afraid but Sam had a torrid run. I'll review him after I see the race

As I said a few months ago, the major is a superstar and I had a quinny with Mister Swinger....bugger

Will Trapper was a nice result. It certainly pays to watch videos, he nearly should have won last week. I'm staggered by the price.

I jagged the tri 5 time and the quinny with Viva   emthup

We had 4 winners between us on the 6 races we mentioned  emthup

The Valley isn't on but a great card at bendigo

Brooklyn Bute is a horse on the up but will be pushed by mister Grizzly in the 4th

Right Interest gets another chance, wish it was a mobile but if he steps he'll go close at big odd in the Dullard heat
The 2nd heat is tough with Viva La Fever drawn the back. GAVLENN RYOSHY  could be the smokey from the pole  emthup

Shocking drive by Caldow on Right Interest again. He'll be winning soon at a big price

Top runs by Mister Grizzly and the Bute as well

Great meeting again tonight highlighted by my mate I am Sam in the Mooney valley Cup. Hopefully he'll lead but I'm worried about the stables pre race comments about death seating agin

BRIkanE will go close in the first
MISTER GRIZZLY to carry on his winning ways in the 3rd
Sam in the Valley Cup, the 5th
RONERAIL was huge last weekbut     SAVE A SIXPENCE will be hard to beat in the Dullard

for a $50k race the MV Cup field is a bit dissapointing.

Standing Start who really knows but if the 1 could lead it'd be the one to beat.

Can anyone explain why Rassmussen gave up the one one to sit outside the leader and then apply no pressure until the last 600m?

Surely you have to give the horse some cred now.

That was a stunning win last night, SMASHING the track record after deah seating and serving it up to the leader for the whole trip.

he was swamped half way up the straight and but had enough guts to forge away again on the line  emthup

Wily,

all I'll say is what I said before.

The field last night was??????

1   DONTFENCEMEIN (RES 49.2 50.6 6.1   GLENN GATH     603 66
2   MESMERIZING 17.6 17.9 3.5   JOHN CALDOW     972 80
3   LENNY BROMAC 43.4 44.7 10.0   GLENN DOUGLAS     169 60
4   ROMEO CASTLE 22.5 22.6 4.3   GRANT CAMPBELL     205 55
5   FEW GOOD MEN 14.7 14.9 3.5   BRIAN GATH     512 68
6   ULTIMATE MARK      SCRATCHED
7   MICKEY MAC 5.1 5.3 2.0   GREG SUGARS     106 80
8   GENUINE STAR 21.3 20.9 5.3   GEOFF WEBSTER     416 64
9   COUNT DE LIRA 62.5 52.9 10.3   KERRYN MANNING     661 60
10   THATS THE SPIRIT 64.6 65.3 10.1   CLINTON WELSH     383 72
11   DEANNA TROY 3.5 3.5 1.8   GAVIN LANG 10M    111 98
12   I AM SAM 3.7 3.7 1.8   NATALIE RASMUSSEN 10M    104 100
13   BOLD CRUISER 7.0 6.8 2.0   DARYL DOUGLAS 20M    711 92

How many would be competetive at the top echelon?  zero.

I'll give credit on what he did, but he beat none that he has to worry about in the major's.

Who are the top graders that he probably wont' beat?

Melpark, obviously is the standout
BAF at his best
Possibly the boom Horse from NZ

The next 10, including Sam, would all take turns in beating each other given the draw and run in transit

Divisive
Iron Hudge(who he has never beaten home)

so that's 5 right there.

so he comes 6th in the majors at best. Sounds right to me.

I am sam just doesn't have that bit extra. Can't explain what it is but you know it when you see it. That's why imo he just won't quite measure up.

Will be a very nice horse in that level below.

Divisive and Hudge probably will beat him if they get good runs but i cant see either doing it tough and beating him home.
Both do seem to have a turn of foot that he doesn't posess.

I can't see Hudge sitting 3 wide or death seating and beating the top ones either. Ditto, Divisive

Either way, I'm sitting pretty with the $21 about Sam for the Hunter as his into $9 now  emthup

The inter dom rankings must be out soon

On equal terms I Am Sam would not beat:
Melpark Major, BAF, Divisive, Changeover, Robin Hood, Mister Swinger, Manwarra Goforgold, Gotta Go Cullen, Iron Hudge, Fluer De Lil, Be Diligent, Tip Your Hat,
