I take your point about being flat after a hard run but the stable said, on the radio, that wasn't the case.
The only excuse they came up with was that he hung in on the turn.
Personally, I think he should have beaten that lot easily and there will be no depth in that form come inters time.

As to divisive winning the inter dom, with the perfect run behind the lead, yes he can but he'll need all the breaks.
In fact, I think the winner of the series will be the one to get the luck on the night. It's the most even series I have ever seen and the top 15 or so have STRONG winning chances given a good run on the night
