It is only one race and it is on pretty late, but I have no doubt that enthusiasts of Finnish Harness Racing will be pleased to see coverage of a race from Finland tonight at 3.30am AEDST.

Having just returned for a successful tour of FDNS  -- I can assure all that there is no reason to welcome any betting opportunities in Scandinavia.

That said -- it does seem that Rudolph remains odds on to beat Randolph -- a protest by the brown-nosed runner, that Rudy stops too quick, has been dismissed.

I note OZ pools will be co-mingled into the Finnish pools, but when I log onto the Tabcorp website there is no mention of the regulations governing the co-mingling with Finnish trots, let alone what the deduction rates are in Finland.

100/1 their deduction rates are less than OZ rates.

No doubt Tabcorp has done its research on the the Finnish trots to be held tonight at Pilvenmaki. That track is in the town of Forssa, which has a population of 17,438 a little more than Wangaratta in Victoria with 17,377. I wonder whether any other country what want to co-mingle their parimutuel pools into the Wangaratta trots :what: :what:

Isn't it night all year round up there at the moment?

Probably too much ice on the track.
