Betfair may get a toehold into mainland Australia via NSW. Morris Iemma has requested his Racing Minister to hold discussions with the betting exchange.

That beaten favourite at Hawksbury got out to 3.25 on Betfair. Started at 2.40 with Iasbet (drifted from 2.00) and started at 2.00 on all three billy goats.  |

I'd be a lot happier with betfair if you could, say right click on a price, then see a list (if more than one bid at that price ) of the layer's accumulated liabilities on that runner. Have a clearer picture then of just what they stand to lose. Won't happen if betfair has anything to do with it. For example, you might see $67 at 25-1 being offered, then find the layer has already stood it to lose 10 grand and is drip feeding so as not to alarm backers.
