A very under-rated jockey IMHO.................saluted another 14/1 at Sunshine today!  Doesn't have many rides, but when he does and when he jumps from a good gate, almost a certainty for a win or place.  flowers

That was an interesting ride Piscis, When the favorite took off Hammersley went with him to post him out 3 deep but than ran straight up the backside of the thing running in the one out one back position and had to check. The horse was still good enough to get the job done.

I know!  Odd,  but I'll still take the money!  Can't afford to ignore him when he gets a good gate!  Amazing and very under-rated IMHO!

Nasty, small minded and totally unnecessary comment Proud Knight not to mention completely untrue!

Furthermore, you do Hammersley a great injustice in suggesting he has only been riding well since he got married approx. 4 weeks ago.  He has been riding winners and placegetters for infinitely longer than that, so why insult him by diluting his past achievements?
