Backed 2nd and 3rd, still good profit, but best ride won it - well done Kerrin. Can't help but think for Symons if only there..

He was confidently calling him the winner...thought geez second placed might have won - seemed pretty close to me.

Some nice horses to come out of this I think.

Brereton had no luck on Sea Galleon. He was forced back further than he'd have preferred, then had to make his run too early. Nice effort to get 3rd.

Agree the ride was the difference today. Hats off to McKevoy drew the car park and had one mission in mind. Get cover and peel off the back of red colossus at the 400. We might just see these two in the spring.

If you asked me at the end of spring Wily he was one of the horses that really caught the eye.

I thought today, whilst a good win, it was only against C graders and he doesn't seem to have a turn of foot which will set you apart once up against the big boys.

Jury is still out chin
