Would be backing Canardly Miss if not scratched (love that horse) but now I'll stick with another one who's been alright to me in Flight Path.

Boy you build up some alliances with horses in WA lol

Not sure why, maybe consistency - horses just seem to be more consistent over there..

As one of Canardly Miss's owners it is nice that you have such faith in her. We had a few Jockey issues for a while but we have now found the combination that works. Shaun O'Donnell has ridden her 3 times for 3 wins. She even broke a 20 year old track record for 1200m at Bunbury.

Yes Red she does finish well. Front running is not her thing. Kennedy tried it once to our dismay. Shot her out the barriers, led all the way and when it counts she went back through the field so fast you would think she'd stopped.

She won her first start very well indeed. We had some shin sore issues, but nothing major. Problems earlier on leading us to change trainers. Then Jockey problems, Kennedy just didn't suit her. She needed a calm rider. Her first win a Bunbury saw Kennedy jump off in favour of another horse which was ultimately scratched. Shaun O'Donnell was the replacement and she flew home. What a difference a Jockey makes! She then stepped out for two more wins making up the hat-trick with Shaun.

Mark. She has raced in town for some good runs even those that she eventually pulled up shin sore in. Jockey problem saw a couple of really aweful runs that she just should not have done. She has qualified for the $60,000 Provincial Series Final over 1400 metres on May 22 at Belmont.
