Story in the SMH quoting Gai Waterhouse as being outraged at the thought of Racing NSW requiring all licensed trainers to be bound by a code of conduct.

Not able to find any reference to the Code on RNSW website but on the face of it not an unreasonable requrement imo.

What is interesting is that since last year RNSW agreed to a request from the NSW Trainers Assn to deduct $60 a month from metro trainers to fund the NSWTA,
anyone who doesn't want to contribute can opt out.

Although TA asked for compulsory membership RNSW didn't go that far.
No compulsory unionism for them.
