On his way to NZ from Ireland, a gentleman got as far Dubai and his passport had got wedged between the seats

Nobody could get his passport out, other people on plane tried, stewardess tried, eventually an engineer comes on the plane with some long nosed pliers, got the passport out in the end, but damaged it in the process

Our Irish friend couldn't continue his trip because his passport was totalled, couldn't get a replacement in Dubai, hopefully he made it back home to Ireland okay

That would really  censored you off, especially with all the problems of flying in & out of Heathrow, due to ash cloud at the mo

This is true, was due in NZ this week, couldn't believe it when I heard it, I assume he'd have been off to AUS after that for the sales & to go to visit studs.
