actually they have 3 categories. They have rails, middle and wide runners.

I've been trying to get them to introduce it here for years.  The best argument I got against it was "You just want the best dogs to win all the time".

Well, yeah.

Personally, I've seen too many good dogs whose confidence is destroyed by getting knocked around because some mad wide runner is in the red or some mad railer has drawn 8, or both in the same race.  Put dogs on the right side of the track and you will reduce early interference to some extent, and that has to be good.

If the dog is good enough to win, it will win from any box.  I'd hate to see the turnover if someone like Whisky drew the pink everytime under your system Manikato.

If they really want to reduce carnage in early races, I think they need to extend the length out the lure out about another metre.
