Racing Victoria

Racing Victoria stewards on Friday inquired into the analyst’s report on the urine sample provided by Stathi Katsidis at Flemington on the 3rd November 2007.

The analyst had reported the presence of Phentermine an anorectic (appetite suppressant).

Evidence was taken via telephone from Stathi Katsidis and from Dr J Vine, Director of RASL.

Stathi Katsidis pleaded guilty to having delivered a sample of urine which was found on analysis to contain the presence of a banned
substance Phentermine.

Stathi Katsidis was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence at midnight on Thursday, 15th November, when he was stood down from riding and to conclude at midnight on Saturday, 22nd December 2007.

Prior to Stathi Katsidis riding track and in trials, he must produce a
clear urine sample.

That comment should be amended to read "people with heaps of money bring out the worst in their partners and loved ones."

And that comment should be amended to read:

Some people with heaps of money do things that cause unreasonable and out-of-character responses from their partners and loved ones - just as some people with moderate amounts of money, as well as those with very little money, also do things that cause unreasonable and out-of-character responses from their partners and loved ones.  In all groups, the behaviour that triggers reactions from partners and loved ones can be linked to substance abuse; sometimes substance dependence; sometimes substance addiction.

I have tried and typed about 6 times to respond to this, but the fingers seem unable to type what the mind thinks. DD I agree with you.
