Siting a harness-racing track inside Doomben would present a problem in that all the facilities are in the wrong spot for left-handed racing. (There are other issues, as well.)

The old flat stand is still down there at the 400. Just needs a lick of paint. You have vacant house down there you could use for admin needs.

Albion Park is the right place for Harness Racing HQ Bob got or is getting $80M of our money and part of it should be to build adequate facilities at AP  There was a pre amalgamation commitment as I recall now it has to be honoured no backing away.  |

in mackay the other day....the slimey machine that is qr/qrl didnt even have a farrier...first 2 races by leading trainer then remainder by well dressed guy with no shoeing gear. bob bent. made a visit yesterday to complete his rort of country racing sayin the kitty promised to refurbish the disgusting facilities with no PA system has to be shared around...the original promise 10 million......now the words of 6 million mentioned....the pie in the sky labor suck hole president declared the greatest goose mackay racing has seen is still wiping the egg off his labor party installed face....that loo-sers name ....ian joblin from the accounting firm brown and bird....who can find the link for the 50 dollars....my money on norts/arsie or mick....you labor trolls will be embarrassed   |
