I thought R4 #5 Footprintinthesand would be hard to beat at Coffs today. Chris "Charlie" Manson's good horse Crystal Point will probably run 2nd in the last race, as it has for 10 of it's 27 career starts.

I reckon Kim's Warrior is a moral in race 5 but probably be in the red, in the Cup I thought the top weight Dealers Principal might be overs at $21 a Group One winner with Hughie on board

Interesting runner at Cessnock today is Husisname who finished 2.5 lengths behind Republic Lad at the Farm on Saturday at huge odds.
Blake Spriggs will be throwing the leg over again.

Bega Cheese Bega Cup day on the beautiful south coast.
Tough race the Cup. Gerald Ryan bringing toppie Equable down for it, and he will appreciate the easier grade. Josh Adams to ride.
I reckon every horse except the bottom one has a chance. Have had a little on 3 roughies and will hope for the best:
#2 Sebony ($18 on the tote at the moment) #7 Grager ($19) #10 Paramount Pete ($22)
Town Plate is Race 6.
#2 Ravna Gora will be hard to beat from Barrier 4. #1 Beyond Expectation deserves similar consideration. One at huge odds is #11 King Of Hearts - watch out for this bloke. Drops heaps in weight at his 4th run back. Josh Adams is riding it.

Host Of Queenslanders Attracted To Lismore Races (Today)The steady stream of Queensland trainers coming across the border to race horses on NSW tracks is tipped to become a flood when new prizemoney levels are announced by Racing NSW this week.
Today’s nine-race Lismore meeting has attracted horses from 26 Qld stables including three from the stable of leading Gold Coast trainer Maryann Brosnan while Eagle Farm trainer Steve O’Dea has accepted with seven runners.
Stefan Jokic and Larry Maudsley will have four runners each while Harry Reed is making the trip from the Sunshine Coast with three. Brosnan said Queensland trainers would be watching closely to see just how big the prizemoney increases for country NSW will be.
“It is going to be exciting times for racing in New South Wales and particularly on the Northern Rivers,” Brosnan said. “We have heard it could be as much as $20,000 a race and if that happens you can be sure a lot more Queensland trainers will want to race on your tracks.
“You will probably find that the bigger stables will be sending better quality horses because owners will want to race for that sort of prizemoney.”http://www.racingnsw.com.au/default.aspx?s=article-display&id=11960
