Poor decision to lead on Goldam may have only gone down half a length but never winning going against it's running style.

The fav. Ironstein was very average and showed none of that sprint of the SC run.

Well done Gin. I somehow managed to get nought out of the race.

The connections of the 2yo winner from Brisbane - Liesele - picked up an extra $50,000 with the Inglis bonus. Well done  Thumb Up  Would have been a big result if Clinton McDonald's horse Apres got up, but a nice place return all the same.

Yet another great carnival. Fantastic crowd up there, and very generous hosts - even if I did end up having to feed some horses. Was supposed to meet up with form member Waterloo...I could hear him, and my colleagues actually reported talking to him...but was a bit like the phantom of the opera  lol

Will be back next year for sure.

I agree that WARRIOR WITHIN should be considered in multis.  Forgive him his SC run, and he's a serious chance.

Was just one year too early.  lol
