Thanks Wenona

Has gelding him ever been discussed?

No mate, never.

He is quite amazingly, very quiet for a stallion, and not very big ........

So there has never been a reason to geld him.

But just to note, he hasn't, NOT been gelded, to be kept as a stallion prospect, it is just that there has never been a need to geld him.

Most horses get gelded as 2yo's, because they are cheeky little buggers, and or will get to heavy, and have soundness issues, he hasn't fallen into any of those categories.

The only other reason to geld him, would be if he gets disinterested with racing, if that happened, then yes he would be gelded wink

Well what can I say, well done MagiC senior.

Still I reckon he'd be a big chance in that QLD summer triple crown thingy over 1200-1400-1600.

I would have loved to have gone, but I think he goes better when I am not there smiley

Funny thing is, I couldn't find him in the run, didn't pick him up untill near the 100m mark, didn't realise he was not in the stable colours, thought the old man had forgotten them, wouldn't have been the first time

Apparently it is the second time we have trained a winner in town in those colours.

The old man was telling me Kilamanjaro won a race in them when he won the main race on the same day quite a few years ago     Thumb Up
