Probable favorite is high flying Love Conquers All.

An interesting runner is Cannonball. Didn't do much in its 2 runs at Flemington but won a Trial easily last week, with Gai, and did run 2nd in the Golden Jubilee at Ascot(UK) last year, so must have some ability.

And it also used to be at Rosehill, and not on the same day as the San Domenico (obviously).  Disappointing, as one of the highlights of the race was when a top 2yo resumed in it.  Why they have to go buggerising round with the programs for no apparent reason is beyond me.

Lighthorseman is a Group One horse but he has breathing problems I think, you need him to relax in a race, he also needs a Good track with little humidity, he is a magnificent individual and would be well in this type of race without any wind Problems, it is very unfortunate that we haven't seen the best of him

I think this is the race a horse called Pluis Vite ridden by Peter Miers won when having his first start, from a flag start from memory trained by the master JBC starting at big odds 100/1 or similar
