Came across this fellow..was a 1.8 million Redoutes Choice (2nd dam gave up Encounter)
and seemed to have good speed, winning 1st start well....then, as you would think for a $3300 sire with his bloodlines, pretty limited success from there on due to ongoing niggling injury (or so I'm told).
He must have been some specimen, having regard to his price, and the fact that Tim Martin bought into him with the Sheik  also indicates he must have been a pretty faultless horse...
Is he as good as you'd get at that admittedly low service fee, (for a battler breeder) in terms of getting good Redoutes bloodline through a handsome correct fast son.?
Thoughts anyone?

I'm the same, IF I ever run into enough cash i'll buy a new brodmare as my current family has broken my spirit but I wouldn't stump up for a yearling again
