The story being told on racing channels that Alan Denham was resigning from training after last Saturdays meeting was denied by George Altomonte owner of the Denham trained Ichihara who said the trainer was just giving up his stables and getting some near where he lives (he did say where but I forget),marvelous how these so called leading channels can't get a story right. Shrug

I heard Denham on the radio last week saying he was giving the game away. Straight from his own mouth wacko

I reckon having a handy 2yo might have given him pause for thought. He WAS giving it ALL away but now he is going to operate a one horse stable for as long as Ichicara  is a group quality animal. Makes sense  Thumb Up

Do the Whites and Truscotts still own and race horses?

The Whites do. Maybe they will give him a few if he is still tinkering?

Original interview was pretty clear cut - he was taking break [of unknown length] but wasn't giving the game away.

Nothing's changed.
