I'm also happy to add something further to the prize pool. $150 Flexi Rover Banker Trifecta on any race on the Sandown Cup meeting. Let's make it a 33% share each to the winner (you can decide how), PP and myself.

Cheers mate.  Thumb Up  Extremely generous.

Will post a new prize schedule tonight.

Thanks everyone. This support should make it a great comp.

PP,

Firstly, I must again say how efficient your work is on this forum.     Thumb Up

Secondly, the support you have received is second to none and the prizes on offer is tremendous and this forum adds to the excitement of the Spring Carnival.

May I just pose a question to the rules - Do you have to make a selection?

For instance, Chuggers may be $400 in front on the final day and decides, I will sit pat.  Is this correct?

Thanks TSM.

You do not have to make a selection on every day. The only condition (to be eligible for prizes) is that you make at least 15 selections for the whole competition.

In your example, if Chuggers is $400 in front on the last day, he does not have to make a tip if he has already made 15 tips previously.

(Chuggers is a great bloke, and I would love him to be $400 in front on the last day, and I'm sure he would too  biggrin  )

OK, Geoff.  I'll strike a deal with you. biggrin

For every major meeting there IS a DE, I won't post for a week.  For every major meeting there ISN'T a DE, you don't post for a day.

Geoff and DD,

Allow me to clarify this discussion and then I will very quickly justify the rule imposed by PP.

Horses racing during carnival time maybe dual accept 1 in a 100 due to the criteria of the races set.  A quick example is a filles race compared to a colts race and the distances are staggered as horses complete their preparations.  Therefore there is limited opportunity to even be eligible for races to even nominate.

However, they very regularly dual nominate for 2 reasons:  a) so they can work on the course proper or b) they expect to be balloted out or may only be a reserve and will not get a start.

There is an example already for this weekend in Melbourne - Fanjura.  Freedman has dual accepted.

Go check it out lads.
