Probably deserves a thread.

As the 2010-2011 season starts, he is now 8 in front on the Sydney trainers premiership and looks like the up and coming trainer in the country.

Seems to have a good stock of stayers in the yard. Glyn Schofield is winning the jockeys premiership and has formed a good partnership with Waller.

Couldn't go far wrong backing him in Sydney and Moody in Melbourne, would save a lot of time studying form wouldn't it??

I'm starting to think that Jim. If he is going places, you could make a buck riding on his shirt tails.

Has a few in at Newcastle as well.

funny it could be an illusion but he doesn't seem to do as well at the provincial meetings, or is it just that I pick the wrong ones??

I think his b-graders go to the provincials. Unlike Bart, Gai and Pete Snowden who quite often send their good ones around at Kembla and Newcastle for experience early on in their careers.

I have had some success backing Waller's horses over the last few months especially when Schofield is on board

One very lucky trainer ?

RACE 1: Lansdowne Handicap 1400m:
Trainer Mr C Waller informed Stewards that he had been advised at approximately 1 pm by a
stable foreperson in his employ, but currently interstate on leave, that American Crew had been
the subject of an administrative error in that, as a late nomination for this race, the gelding had
been routinely treated last Saturday with a view to racing this Saturday, 13 November 2010.
Acting on this advice, Stewards acceded to a request to withdraw American Crew at 1.11pm prior
to the commencement of betting. The matter was adjourned so that the stable employee can be
interviewed.
The start was delayed when Mossamine required farrier attention to the offside front
shoe. Druid jumped awkwardly. Lemieux was slow to begin.

Will the foreperson get a bonus for ringing in time
or a bollocking for not leaving details when he started leave?
