I am not au fait with the politics in QLD so pardon my ignorance but late nom for what?? and what is wrong with it?? I mean Malcolm Fraser and the rest of the Libs weren't happy with the appointment of Bob hawke as leader of the Opposition either, that is not evidence that there is something wrong with it!!
In saying that I am not really interested in the details, just if you are going to state opinions as facts that defame someone it is a good idea to state why you think what you think(or think you know)
I'm assuming your mention of defamation doesn't refer to my good self and ted's an old hand at spear throwing and dodging writs.
But to get back to the SM report it said Bob wasn't in the original noms and in being inducted he headed Glen Boss and Brian Mayfield-Smith.
So the voting panel, whoever they may be, thinks Bob deserves more recognition than the above mentioned.
My opinion is that most wouldn't concur, although Bob has put a lot of effort ,much of it not appreciated,till now,since he took over running the show.
