When I can mount a serious arguement for half the field it is best I leave the race alone. Great field though.

only 2 proven WFA horses in the race and I have doubts re Danleigh at a Mile at Flemington, leaves me with Heart Of Dreams, there are a lot of others that are waiting for them 2 to put a foot wrong though, hard race and no value in it that I can see at this point!

Why would Danleigh go to Melbourne when he loves the wet and it is raining in Sydney and predicted to do so tomorrow? Doesn't make sense.

Waller has 2 horses in the Chelmsford that is one reason, The Makybe Diva is worth Twice the prizemoney that is reason 2, this is an easier race to win that is reason 3

It was quite warm today (well, for the time of year), and Flemington does dry quite well. I wouldn't be surprised if it came up dead.

I like Speed Gifted in this. He is undefeated at Flemington from 2 and can also handle the wet conditions which is ideal for what the track will be like on Saturday. Also worth noting is he has won 3 of 5 first up and the 1700m should suit. Should prove to be tough down the straight.

My worry with Speed Gifted is Dwayne Dunn has taken the ride on the stablemate as for the weather they are predicting an inch of rain on Fri/Saturday

I couldn't like anything strongly apart from Danleigh or perhaps HOD.
I just want to see the Europeans going around. Who will be doing the best over the last 400m.
