Really interested in seeing Dariana. Sometime's I think these horses from Qld came rapidly improving and keep going.
I'm not sure if that's the case with Dariana - but I do think she's shown herself to be an impressive staying type.

Concerned about the gate but Rhythm in Paris owes me nothing. I think Flemington might suit.

Pretty good mares race this. Im going with Lady Lynette. Followed her a bit over the last spring campaign and made a bit of money off her and she really impressed me first up in the Cockram Stakes a few weeks back. The rise in distance will definitely suit her and she can win on wet tracks. Definitely value at the odds.
Response and Rythym In Paris are the dangers though. Both finished ahead of Lady Lynette in the Cockram, but i just think the wet track will suit Lady Lynette and she will be ripe for this.

Welcome to the forum Speedy, In your comments above---your thoughts on Irish Lights---do you think this horse is "washed up".

I know I'm not 'Speedy' However, for mine Chuggers she gets one more go at the $11 mark. I've not backed her since the Thousand Guineas so she owes me nothing, and I said after that run she had that she might be the one to follow out of it. She might just be 'washed up' - she would certainly not be the first Thousand Guineas winner to be so, but I'm giving her one more chance. The winner will come out of the Cockram. No surprise about winners of this race that have come out of the Cockram in the past either.

Welcome to the forum Speedy, In your comments above---your thoughts on Irish Lights---do you think this horse is "washed up". Thanks for the welcome chuggers. Great forum you guys have got here! As for your comments regarding Irish Lights being washed up. Im not sure she is, however she failed to set the world on fire during the autumn. She ran a third in the Armanasco and flopped in the Coolmore. Will certainly be interesting watching her this campaign, i think she can do well again, but this is a tough field and i think she will finish just outside the place getters. Hopefulyl she can recapture some of the form that made her such an exciting filly last year, she was great to watch last spring.

The measuring stick for mine with Irish Lights is that she beat Melito and Faint Perfume in that race, just look how much those two seem to have gone past her.

She beat them on a heavily biased track - when she walked in front - was a brillant ride by boss? i think- but the other two's runs were superior that day - that was by no way as impressive as her shorter course efforts
