Well I wasn't real Fair Dinkum serious, she may beat a couple home!!
Even joe Pride when interviewed re Tinkler pulling the Pin on WF, blaming it for his stable failures, Joe said he should be "looking elsewhere" to find the reason for their lack of success!!
I just couldn't back any Thompson Horses, numbers will dictate that he will get winners, but they will need to have a lot of class on the opposition from my point of view, I just don't think this mare has that much class to overcome her training, if she is a genuine Group One mare she may win, I would rather lay her than back her!

Reading the statement made by Peter Beer I couldn't see even a hit of blame on WF for the stables "failures"

Not sure who Peter Beer is? I assume he is a spokesman for Tinkler??
They don't even acknowledge that they aren't satisfied with their achievements so how could they blame anyone or anything?? They are moving from WF because they are not happy with facilities  there, that is common knowledge and without dispute, it has been well documented, they are being diplomatic about it, a 10 year old school kid could read that!!
There must be scuttlebutt around the traps for a well known trainer to say Tinkler shouldn't blame the track facilities for their lack of success!

But it's pretty obvious you've got something against Thompson and your just using this to have another go, when it's just as likely that they are simply just not happy with facilities, simple as.

I don't know the man, just look at his performance(or the performance of his horses more to the point) Jason Coyle(and I don't know him either) took it from scratch and won a couple of Group Ones, at the Sydney Autumn Carnival and the Brisbane Winter carnival, Thompson took over a going concern and has won one Group One at the South Australian Carnival( hardly should be a group 3 let alone a Group One) all thge good horses he took over have completely lost form, not sure of the reason but the buck must stop with the man making the decisions you would think???
I would love to see him succeed, it would be good to have a 4th big stable in competition with Snowden/Waterhouse and Waller,
His father failed to fire with a big team as well, he (the Old man) never had them fit, I do know that as I saw a lot of his horses and they were never fit enough, they won on class, I expect the same is happening with Junior, you back him, I won't be until he puts some runs on the board
In his defence I feel he(or who ever does the Buying for Tinkler) has been buying wet trackers, you will find most of his horses do a bit better on rain affected tracks

First you inferred they were happy with the facilities, now your blaming the facilities?? what facilities did Coyle have??

Second what would a leading WF trainer have against Tinkler?? He stated that it wasn't the Facilities that was the problem??
As I said I have nothing at all against Thompson, maybe it is Tinkler who is the Problem, he seems a hard bloke to please, seems to have a controlling personality, he may be telling Thompson what to do, if so Thompson should have the strength of Character that Coyle showed and quit, if he doesn't it will ruin him if Tinkler sacks him first!

Just want some opinions on Verballed guys. She is an ok mare but can be hot and cold. She did well fresh a fortnight ago winning here at Rosehill but steps up in class here.

Reckon she can win..?

But aren't Snowden, Pride and the like in there own facilities not the temporary ones from relocation because the world youth festival?

Jason Coyle won two groups ones yes but maybe he left the operation and cattle in such a state that Thompson hasn't as of yet been able to take it forward, and maybe that's why he has been sacked, maybe the lad in before Coyle left him a better platform than Coyle left for Thompson, i don't really think that but i think it's bow you could draw if you wanted too.

I think whoever does the picking of the horses they buy has the most to answer for.

I don't know whether Thompson is a decent trainer or not but i don't think there's enough information, facts & stats out there to prove either way as of yet.

Well you back his horses, that's your prerogative, there could be a 1000 reasons why he isn't doing as well as he should, tell that to the bookie when one gets beat and see if he accepts it and gives you your money back??
I can't until he puts the runs on the board
