6 - 3.00PM - MITTY'S MCEWEN STAKES - 1000 METRES

Of $200000 and $1500 trophy.  1st $120000 and trophy of $1500, 2nd $36000, 3rd $18000, 4th $9000, 5th $5000, 6th $4000, 7th $4000, 8th $4000. Standard Weight for Age. (GROUP 3). No Allowances for apprentices.  Field Limit: 15 + 4 EM

Morgan Dollar could be a value bet. Has good form at course and distance and ran a second in this race last year. He impressed me last start running a second to Stanzout who has form around Shoot Out.

His odds are $17, a good eachway bet me thinks.

Place, maybe. Just could not possibly back him to win this, as he is a non winner and way up in class. (These would flog Stanzout.) HOWEVER, I've just got a little sneaky about him too chin
