Just like to notify everyone of this emerging colt from the Godolphin stable.

He is by Street Cry from Galileo mare Aryaamm

Saamidd won his maiden by 7lengths at newbury before desposing of a class field in the G2 Champagne Stakes at Doncaster over the weekend at his second start.

His jockey Frankie Dettori says his nickname is 'Pegasus' and that he was extremely nervous about riding the horse as he sees him as his future.
Huge endorsements from a jockey who has ridden some of the very best over the last 20years.

Saamidd is likely to line up in the Dewhurst Stakes at Newmarket on October 16th and is favourite for next years English 2000 Guineas.

This horse has class and is headed for the top

Not sure he would stay a St. Leger trip but he seems similar to Sea the Stars in that 1600m - 2400m would be his go... especially withe the speed & stamina from Street Cry and Classic stamina from Galileo.

I just hope Godolphin realise the immense talent of this colt and don't send him to Dubai over the NH winter and bake him in the sun as they do with so many others.

Having only his 2nd start there is so much improvement and has proved too be far too good for some of the leading 2YO's in Approve & Waiter's Dream so the Classics next year are his for the taking.

Yes i did see that Authorized, very intriguing... the two horses could line up in the Dewhurst...
