He might have a smart filly in the yard called Three Red Roses, very stoutly bred, was beaten 3.5 lengths over 1200m on the Gold Coast today.
Shaftesbury, if you study the Gold Coast races i'd be interested in your thoughts on her effort today.
She did not have a real clean run and will make the stewards reports I am sure.

SHEER ECHELON (App. O Turpin) began awkwardly and shifted in making contact with ANN OF ROSEBROOK (J Bowditch) which in turn shifted in on to STEPHEN GOT EVEN (K Pope).
HAULAGE (App. M Wood) jumped away awkwardly.
SAVOIR FLAIR (K Fujii) was slow to begin.
EXCEPTIONALHONOUR (P Timbery) and PHANTOMOFTHEOPERA (App. B Looker) both made contact on jumping away.
STEPHEN GOT EVEN (K Pope) had a tendency to get its head up in the air and race ungenerously in the early stages of the event.
Near the 1000m SAVOIR FLAIR improved up on to the heels of ANN OF ROSEBROOK and had to be steadied and shifted out. SAVOIR FLAIR then raced wide for the remainder of the event.
HAULAGE was caught racing wide for the majority of the event.
Near the 500m STEPHEN GOT EVEN improved up on to the heels of EXCEPTIONAL HONOUR and had to be steadied.
Leaving the 300m the saddle of EXCEPTIONAL HONOUR (P Timbery) shifted to the off side placing the rider at a disadvantage for the remainder of the event.
It was reported that THREE RED ROSES (B Hull) lost its off hind shoe in running.
