This is a Stallion that is standing his first year here in WA. A lovely middle distance horse that won 3 in a row prior to a tendon ultimately curtailing his racing career. He stands at an impressive 16.3hh and weighs in at just over 600kgs.

I hope that it is OK to post this type of information here on this site. Regards

He stands here at Waterford Stud in Waroona WA, which is in the heart of the growing breeding area that surrounds Pinjarra, south West of Perth.

Thanks, if people are interested, I also have Facebook pages for the Stud and each of the four Stallions standing there. We have several hundred followers for each of them already, but always more are welcome.

For the Breeding Season this year, I have only run one magazine advertisement, or traditional type of advertising, everything else has been done on the internet.

My Atacanta has a reasonable book of mares at this stage of the season, and currently 60% are outside connections of the Stallion or Stud, and this number grows weekly. Hopefully this is the way of the future for our Industry.

Cheers, let me know if you would like to see the facebook fan sites as well.

Additions to this catologue page from several years ago include:

Sweet Cecily has finally earned some black type, albeit for a second placing at Newbury in the 2yo Fillies St Hugh's Stakes. She is the first runner for the 1/2 sister to Rihan (dam ofMy Atacanta) Yaqootah. Looking at her future nominations, I believe she has been turned out for a spell after a successful campiagn that included a win, 2 2nds(incl Listed) and a close up 5th in a Gr 3, from just those 4 starts.

My Atacanta(IRE) has finished his first season at Stud with 47 mares covered. Of those, 29 were outside mares.
