Stated on Breednet site that Clan O'Sullivan has passed away he had been in retirement for some time,he was a handy horse when he raced.RIP.

Frank Cleary a veteran Queanbeyan / Canberra trainer says 'he's had a shit of a year', another of his  Catbird died just six months ago as well as loosing another in Gilded Youth.  The former two won the Black Opal in Canberra.  Catbird went on to win the Golden Slipper while Clan O'Sullivan ran second to Burst.  He was 18. He says Clan was his favourite even though Catbird won the Slipper.
