Colour Correct is the only horse out of the race going forward that would have any hope in the Railway Stakes. But his closing 600M time was not sensational by comparison to the Northerly Stakes field. Seeing how he got run down in that race as well, whilst under a considerable weight advantage, I don't think this is a good form race for the Railway, afterall the highest rated runner was only a 98. Next week's Lee Steere Stakes is a better guide on the local hopes. If Colour Correct runs in the RJ Peters, 7 days out from the Railway, he would have to be winning that comfortably to hold off the rise in class the following week.
