Of $200000 and $2000 trophies.  1st $130000 and trophies of $1000 to owner $500 to trainer $500 to jockey, 2nd $40000, 3rd $18000, 4th $8000, 5th $4000. (GROUP 2) For three years old and upwards. No Allowances for apprentices.

Famous Roman smashed them. Sat off the back of the field and simply ran past all of them with a closing 33.44 over the final 600M. This being a WFA race, where he was giving up 3.5kgs to some for only beating them a nose 2 weeks earlier, must now rank as his greatest victory. So from here to the Railway Stakes.

Then next year to Stud.
